Rust Moon – Live on Kickstarter!

Hello, everyone! We’re finally here – the Rust Moon Campaign setting is live on Kickstarter, and we’re already halfway to funding the project at the time of writing, but we still need your help to make it a reality!

Rust Moon is a Western-inspired setting for your D&D 5e/Tales of the Valiant campaigns, where moon-cursed Lycans roam the wilderness and justice often flows from the barrel of a gun rather than a gavel’s strike. The Rust Moon Territory is desperate for hope and heroes – will that be you?

This campaign setting features:

  • Subclasses to play as classic Western archetypes with a fantasy twist, like Snake Oil Peddlers, Deadeyes, and Rust Moon’s Marshals
  • Game mechanics to bring firearms and other Western staples to your equipment roster
  • Options to build Lycan characters, including werewolves, wereravens, wererabbits, and werecoyotes
  • Fearsome desert monsters, such as the Rattle Dragon, Silt Hag, and Prime Lycans

Why Kickstarter?

TBM Games has been publishing TTRPG supplements for nearly a decade. However, unlike previous small-scale projects which I could develop out of pocket, Rust Moon has evolved into a larger game supplement with the guidance of a whole team of amazing designers and artists. We’re all proud of the work that has gone into the setting, and we feel that crowdfunding will help us afford to bring this book to as many people as possible, and help backers shape the destiny of the Rust Moon Territory. Backers can make their mark by creating NPCs who will feature in the Campaign Setting and by voting for a community-created Lycan species to appear alongside the ones already mentioned above.

We are so excited to bring you this campaign setting, and we’re well on our way to funding it, but we still need your help, so saddle up – there are loads of adventures to be had out west!
